New Year’s Eve at The Manor on Golden Pond

As winter settles into New Hampshire, the rhythms and rituals of fall disappear under blankets of snow, shorter daylight hours and a desire to hunker down and find rejuvenation for the ultimate return of spring. The holiday’s rush in with the Northeast wind and the calendar year culminates in the consummate celebration of New Year’s Eve, a tradition that dates back to the Babylonians with their rituals of merriment at the beginning of spring, to them the start of a new year.

Here at the Manor on Golden Pond we have the perfect setting for celebrations, New Year’s Eve being no exception. Wood burning fireplaces, captivating winter views of Squam Lake and the White Mountains, gourmet dining and a quiet romantic ambiance luring couples and close friends to a more intimate experience than found at bigger hotels or restaurants on New Year’s Eve.  If connecting with friends and having conversations rather than shouting matches is to your liking, come New Year’s Eve for dinner and enjoy a 7-course menu and a fine bottle of wine. If your preference is to stay overnight and make it a getaway to New Hampshire, all of our bed & breakfast rates include a full country breakfast and afternoon tea. Our Executive Chef has created a 7-course menu for the evening beginning with his amuse and ending with a luscious dessert. Music from our baby grand piano will croon to you during your feast. What better way to celebrate the passing of one year into the next? We hope you are able to join us.
